WE DO THIS:

We implement a system to automatically call for maintenance before breakdowns. Install an Integration Appliance to connect to equipment (PLCs, other smart devices). Use As One’s Solution Editor and State-Machine Editor to define agents that call for maintenance based on any of the following conditions:
                When cycle counts exceed maintenance limits
                When key parameters are out of specification compared to fixed values,
                  values that change by state, values that follow curve, etc.
                When cycle timing is different that expected

The running solution with these agents analyzes information in real-time. Agents also determine how to call for maintenance, such as:
                Push messages to third party maintenance management package
                Push messages directly to maintenance personnel via email,
                  pagers, marquees.
